Recently Julie and her childhood friend, Jeanne, were reunited and have been corresponding via email. Here’s an excerpt of a letter Julie wrote to Jeanne while on vacation in 7th grade…. a window into the future.

Julie holding one of her painting called "Virginia Dale Memories". She painted this historic church from photos taken prior to the devastating fire that completely destroyed the 123 year-old church on November 15, 2003. The arsonist was later arrested and the church has since been rebuilt.
